As part of the Ramadan Nights programme, the French Institute of Egypt has put together a series of concert evenings exploring traditional Egyptian music!
We welcome Mazaher for this fourth evening around a concert event!
The Mazaher Ensemble presents a special Ramadan performance based on Sufi scripts related to Zar Abu el Ghit, named after Sheikh Hassan Abu el Ghit.
The ensemble will perform various roles, from prophetic praises to stories of Sufi leaders such as El Sayed el Badawi and Abd El Kader el Gilani.

The traditional Egyptian instruments used date back to ancient times and are still used today in various genres, such as the Kawala, Mazhar, Nakrazan and Dholak.
