Welcome to the New Cairo branch of the French Institute in Egypt
In 2018, the French Institute in Egypt inaugurated a new premises in the eastern outskirts of the Egyptian capital, in New Cairo. It’s the first new premises of the French Institute in Egypt since 1977, 41 years after the establishment of the Heliopolis branch.
The opening of this IFE new branch allows to establish a French cultural presence in this area marked by residential, commercial and administrative development.
