FILM SCREENINGS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT Gérard Depardieu

The French Institute of Egypt in Alexandria launches new monthly cinema screenings and debates with director Ahmed Nabil. These screenings aims to be a window into the world of French cinema through documentaries and feature-length film.

Fahim: Forced to flee his native Bangladesh, young Fahim and his father left the rest of the family to Paris. As soon as they arrive, they begin a real struggle to obtain political asylum, with the threat of being expelled at any time. Fahim meets Sylvain, one of the best chess coaches in France.
