Grégoire Leray, professeur à l’Université Côte d’Azur, professeur-invité à l’IDAI, présente la conférence : “La responsabilité climatique de l’entreprise”

As the COP 27 in Egypt has come to an end, and attention is focused on international negotiations, it is useful to remember that the climate challenge requires action on several levels. In French and European law, a binding framework is being developed to limit the climate impacts of large companies. This leads to several new assumptions of responsibility for companies.

Grégoire Leray is a professor of private law at the University of Côte d’Azur. After his doctoral thesis at the Sorbonne in civil environmental law, he focuses his research on the study of private and economic environmental law. His recent work focuses on the analysis of the internalization of environmental issues by corporate law.
