The Embassy of France in Egypt and the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research are launching a new doctoral scholarship program for 2025.
This co-funded program supports research stays in France for PhD students enrolled in Egyptian universities or research centers.
📌 Three scholarship schemes are possible:
• Joint PhD (Cotutelle): up to 3 stays of 6 months — dual enrollment in Egypt and France, with a double degree.
• Co-supervision: up to 2 stays of 6 months — PhD in Egypt with co-supervision by a French researcher.
• Research stay: up to 1 stay of 6 months — short-term research mobility in France as part of a PhD enrollment at an Egyptian university.
