The French Institute in Egypt is launching a new programme – “Les Premières”. Open to creators and artists, the programme aims to support emerging artists and artistic creations: dance, theatre, multimedia, music…
Between May 2024 and February 2025, 6 projects in their production phase will be selected and receive:
- A production grant of 110k egp based on the presented project, including the equipment renting/or purchase.
- access to the auditorium for 8 practice sessions (over a period of 1 month)
Each project will then be presented to the public as part of the cultural programme of the Institut Français d’Egypte
- 1 performance in Cairo and 1 in Alexandria
An exhibition will be held for the multimedia projects.
