Our event, “Focus Syria”, will begin on Thursday evening with the opening of Anas Khalaf’s exhibition “Departures”. Through 74 photos taken in Damascus after the fall of Bashar Al Assad’s regime, the artist pays tribute to his mother, who died two days before his trip, and bears witness to the suffering but also the hope that runs through Syrian history.
