Opening of the exhibition “Eco.Topia” – Curator: Tam Gallérie

24 October 2022 - 19:00 - 20:00

As part of COP27 and the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change … Throughout the thirty years that followed, the world has come a long way in the fight against climate change and its negatives impacts on our planet. We are aware of the major challenges that we must face, particularly the great obstacles to sustainable development and the difficulties related to social, economic and environmental vulnerabilities.

Climate change is a global imminent threat. Not only does it jeopardize all our ecosystems, our populations and our cultures, but also the future of humanity.

This exhibition highlights the role of art in addressing this issue and how it can bring people together, initiate debates, and be a source of hope and motivation for populations.

“Does the ecological utopia exist? What kind of future do we want? What is the impact of climate change on different communities? What are the revolutionary solutions?”

All the works invite the public to dream of a sustainable and aesthetic development.

The exhibition is organized by Tam Gallérie and supported by the French Institute in Egypt in Alexandria
