During this event, Chaden Diyab, poet and PhD in chemistry, will explain how literature can enrich scientific thought, making it clearer and more inspiring. To illustrate her point, she invites writer Ahmad Al-Sadeq to present his novel Hydra to the audience, a poetic exploration of themes such as existence and immortality. She also welcomes Professor Ashraf Abdelrahman, who will discuss poetic chemistry—the relationship between linguistics, poetry, and music.

Far from being dry or technical, the discussion will be accompanied throughout the evening by musical readings.
