Bringing together her archive of home movies taken between 1972 and 1981, Ernaux’s THE SUPER 8 YEARS is a chronicle of a family life, marriage and career – and a microcosm of an entire generation living through the rapid globalization of the 1970s.

Annie Ernaux is a Nobel Prize winning author whose largely autobiographical body of work grapples with the mysteries of time. THE SUPER 8 YEARS is her first venture into the visual arts.
