The Amoun network for literary and film researchers and the French Institute teamed up to screen the film “Wash Al Kafas” (2021), directed by Dina Abdel Salam.

The film will be screened in the presence of the director!

Set in a jam-manufacturing company in Alexandria, the film presents the lives of several employees at a time when they face financial difficulties. They get trapped together as they attempt to find an outlet for their financial problems. The events unfold in the vein of black comedy.

The film will be followed by a discussion with the director.
