Celebrating the 15th edition of Manial Palace Festival, Bordeaux Opera Ballet was invited to perform with Cairo Opera Ballet.
Directed by Erminia Gambarelli Kamel, the Ballet welcomed two dancers of the Bordeaux ballet: Evandro Bosle and Lucio Rios. Eric Quilleré, the Dance Director, gave a class and organized several masterclasses in the framework of the cooperation between the two institutions.
In a celebration organized in tribute to the Choreograph Abdel Moneim Kamel, several classic movements were presented by both ballet groups, in addition to the second act of Swan Lake. This was the first ballet event to be held during this festival, and within the enchanting Manial Palace.
