This workshop consists of exploring the tools of narrative writing and the aesthetics of short stories. Through the exercises, participants will learn story writing techniques with storytelling techniques to revive old memories and share them with each other.

Heba Khamis is an Egyptian writer, winner of the Egyptian Sawiris Prize for a collection of short stories entitled “Zaar”. She received the prize for cultural centers for a collection of short stories entitled “From a window overlooking the square”. In 2021, she published the novel “American residences” published by Dar Al-Shorouk. She is also a journalist at Masrawy .She has given many creative writing workshops at Diwan Library in Cairo.
