🆕 French Institute in Paris, French Institute in Egypt, in collaboration with Shelter Art Space are launching a call for applications for the artistic residency program Les Ateliers du Nil (Alexandria).
Les Ateliers du Nil is a residency program for French artists in Egypt. This call for applications is specifically for the artistic residencies in Alexandria.
This program is exclusively open to French artists or artists residing in France. 🇫🇷
📍Themes and Residency Location
Alexandria : Curation
To apply, the artist must :
- Be French nationals or residents and work in France.
- Be under 40 years old
- Have a professional background (minimum of 3 years) or have completed a degree in the art.
- Hold a valid passport (at least 3 months valid after the residency)
- Have curatorial experience with at least three organized exhibitions (solo and group exhibitions).
Be proficient in French or English (Arabic is a plus).
🗓 Application submission : From 15th of March to 12th of April, 2025
- With the support of the Institut Français, as part of the Fabrique des Résidences program.
