Hazem Shaheen is a oud-player, singer, and composer born in Alexandria, Egypt 1978. He is one of the most renowned, independent artists in the Arab region. He was taught by a number of great oud-players since 1990.

Shaheen started the band “Eskenderella” in 2005 and soon after “Masar” in 2006, which changed to be known as “Hazem Shaheen”
