We all know that Egyptian weddings are unlike anything else. For this special act, DuOuD (France) have collaborated with Luxor’s Mahmoud Gomaa to bring us an explosive reimagining of this rich and eclectic tradition. DuOuD have been experimenting with the electronic oud for many years, and Mahmoud Gomaa is an established folkloric singer from Egypt’s south. We will have 9 singers, dancers, and musicians with a sense of wild celebration and experimentation uniting them all.
