🌵 SABBART, une fusion de « Sabbar » (qui signifie « cactus » en arabe) et « Art », explore comment les arts et la culture peuvent façonner un avenir plus durable. Pour sa deuxième édition, SABBART se tourne vers les éléments — le feu, l’eau, la terre et le vent — en tant que forces naturelles qui modèlent nos paysages, soutiennent la vie et remettent en question nos modes de vie. À travers une diversité de perspectives artistiques et d’échanges culturels, nous visons à inspirer la réflexion et le dialogue pour un monde plus éco-social.
Organisé par le Cluster EUNIC Égypte, SABBART se déroulera dans divers lieux du Caire pendant les mois de mai et juin 2025.
📸 Dans le cadre de SABBART, l’Institut français d’Égypte (IFE) ouvre un appel à candidatures pour participer à une série d’ateliers photo avec le photographe Nabil Boutros. Ces ateliers, qui auront pour thème la nature et les 4 éléments, se tiendront du 21 mai au 1er juin 2025. Les participants auront l’occasion de présenter leurs travaux lors de l’exposition collective qui clôturera le programme en juin 2025 !

🌵 SABBART, a blend of « Sabbar » (Arabic for « cactus ») and « Art, » explores how arts and culture can shape a more sustainable future. In its second edition, SABBART turns to the elements — fire, water, earth, and wind — as the natural forces that shape our landscapes, sustain life, and challenge our ways of living. Through diverse artistic perspectives and cultural exchanges, we aim to inspire reflection and dialogue for a more eco-social world.
Hosted by the EUNIC Cluster Egypt, SABBART will run at various venues in Cairo during May and June 2025.
📸 As part of SABBART, the French Institute in Egypt (IFE) is opening a call for applications to participate in a series of photography workshops with photographer Nabil Boutros. The theme of the workshops will be nature and the 4 elements, and they will take place from May 21 to June 1, 2025. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work during the collective exhibition that will conclude the program!
