It is exclusively open to international artists residing abroad who wish to develop a research and creation project in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates wishing to apply must be supported by the French Institute in Egypt, which will endorse their application.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The list of eligible disciplines is extensive:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Architecture\/Landscape\/Urbanism<\/li>\n<li>Visual Arts<\/li>\n<li>Street Arts\/Circus\/Puppetry<\/li>\n<li>Comics<\/li>\n<li>Cinema (fiction, animation, creative documentary)<\/li>\n<li>Exhibition Curatorship\/Art Criticism<\/li>\n<li>Digital Creation (digital arts, video games, VR)<\/li>\n<li>Dance<\/li>\n<li>Design\/Graphics<\/li>\n<li>Literature (fiction, essay, youth)<\/li>\n<li>Crafts<\/li>\n<li>Fashion<\/li>\n<li>Music (contemporary, jazz, classical, contemporary, for the screen)<\/li>\n<li>Photography<\/li>\n<li>Multidisciplinary Projects<\/li>\n<li>Theater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the programme, the artist must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be of Egyptian nationality or work and live in Egypt.<\/li>\n<li>Have completed their academic studies and\/or have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the artistic sector.<\/li>\n<li>Have already developed one or more creation projects.<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid passport for at least 3 months after the end of the residency.<\/li>\n<li>Speak French and\/or English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Timeline<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Application submission: July 6 to August 31, 2025<\/p>\n<p>Announcement of results: January 2026<\/p>\n<p>Residency: April 2026 to April 2027<\/p>\n<p>The residencies last for three months and will take place between April 2026 and April 2027 (subject to change), at the Cit\u00e9 Internationale des Arts in the heart of Paris. International transportation, a studio apartment of approximately 40 sqm, and residency allowances are covered.<\/p>\n<p>The sessions run over 4 cycles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrival on April 7, 2026 \u2013 Departure on July 3, 2026<\/li>\n<li>Arrival on July 8, 2026 \u2013 Departure on October 5, 2026<\/li>\n<li>Arrival on October 8, 2026 \u2013 Departure on January 4, 2027<\/li>\n<li>Arrival on January 8, 2027 \u2013 Departure on April 6, 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To apply, please send your application to the email address <a href=\"mailto:culture@ifegypte.com\">culture@ifegypte.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline: <strong><u>August 31, 2025 at 5pm (Cairo Time)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The application should include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A portfolio<\/li>\n<li>One or more texts explaining the candidate&#8217;s practice and the project they intend to develop during their residency.<\/li>\n<li>A comprehensive CV<\/li>\n<li>A motivation letter with the project proposal<\/li>\n<li>The candidate&#8217;s availability during the specified period<\/li>\n<li>The candidate&#8217;s contact information (email, phone number, and address)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications from multiple candidates will not be accepted.
