Heba Khamis is an \u064fEgyptian independent photographer and visual researcher focuses on the core of the practice, the psychological aspects of the documenting process of sensitive social issues and its impact. For a while her work was centred around the theme body while adhering to the “do no harm” principle. In 2018-2019 her Banned Beauty and Black Birds photo series won first and second prize respectively at the World Press Photo contest among other international awards.<\/p>\n
