Fund your 2nd year of Master’s degree in France: all you need to know about the Tahtawi scholarship program
For the past ten years, Tahtawi scholarship has enabled several hundreds of Egyptian students to get the Master’s degree of their dreams, to acquire an enriching personal and academic experience, to live the French way and to access prestigious jobs in France, in Egypt or elsewhere all over the world.
More than 200 students apply each year, from all Egyptian and international universities in Egypt, and especially from French graduating programs in Egypt and from the French University in Egypt (UFE).
Tahtawi scholarships are open to Egyptian students who would like to pursue their second year of Master’s degree (M2), the fifth year of higher education, in a higher education institution in France. They can study in French or in English. The program is open to every Egyptian student, graduate or in his/her final year, who has followed undergraduate studies for at least 4 years in Egypt.
The scholarship opens the right to a monthly allowance of 860 euros for 10 months, an exemption from registration fees in a public institution up to € 5,000 maximum, an assistance in booking accommodation in a student residence and a coverage for social and health insurance.
