In terms of contemporary creation, the IFE works with Egyptian public operators as well as the independent creative youth; promotes cross-mobility and the exchange of expertise; encourages the dissemination of artistic and intellectual productions in all disciplines; and support the cultural ecosystem through the organization of specific trainings.

Partner of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, the Institute works with independent art and cultural centers such as the SOMA Art School Gallery, the El-Warsha theater company, the Rezodanse center, the Art Shelter center, the Medrar gallery, and the AFCA association dedicated to young audiences.

In France, it has developed partnerships with the Cité internationale des Arts, the Friche Belle de Mai, the Louvre, the MUCEM, the IMA, the Maison de la poésie, the Rencontres d’Averroès and “Oh les beaux jours” festival in Marseille, the Cité internationale de la BD (Comics) in Angoulême, the Villa Gillet and the International College for Literary Translators in Arles. French professionals regularly visit Egypt to animate trainings in cinema, arts, music, dance and theater.
As cultural dissemination venues, the IFE’s branches are also spaces of expression for all disciplines and for all audiences, by regularly offering Egyptian and French contemporary shows on tour.
